The Importance of Doing It Now

Good afternoon. At least it's afternoon as I write this looking out at the parking lot of the Starbucks next to where I work. I have had several and various blogs for a while now. What I really want, however, is an undercurrent of thought made into words--transmuted, as it were--and ever flowing on the interwebs. Not that I think or care or expect it to be read, if an overnight sensation. Just that I want an aspect of my inner person available to the world at all times. Because that's pretty much what it is. And so, I title this first post what I do because I don't really have all the answers. But as I've possessed my name in URL form for three months now and haven't really done much on that front, I feel I'm whiling away the time. At the risk of sounding preachy (I have another blog for that), I would encourage you to do the same. If you've found my site, know that it's not finished--not the final product, in other words. But the wheels are turning inside the bespectacled head you see on the homepage. And if I don't get it down, it will basically die on the vine. Things don't have to look perfect in order to be a work in progress. Get something out, keep the wheels turning, and move on to something else. That's what this is and that's what I'm gonna do!
